Q: If I order today, how long will it be before I receive my books?
A: If we have it in stock, we will ship it the next day.
We use book rates, to keep our shipping prices low.
You should get your books in about a week, or sooner if you are near
Indianapolis, Indiana.
If we do not have an item in stock, we will order it the next day,
and our good suppliers will generally get it to us in about one week.
If we have to order from one of our not so good suppliers, it may take
a little longer.
We buy from a wide variety of publishers, and some of these publish
excellent books, but their customer service could be improved.
We only buy from these folks if we can't get their books through any
distributors.
We buy the vast majority of our books from publishers & distributors
who ship promptly.
Q: Can I pay for express shipping to get my books sooner?
A: Yes. Ask about your options when you call in your order.
Keep in mind that if we have a book in stock & have to order,
it will still take a week to get to us before we ship it to you.
Paying for express shipping will not reduce this time.
Q: Are all the books you list in print & available?
A: Probably not.
We try to keep our pages up to date, but there are no doubt some books
that we will not be able to get.
While our publishers tell us
about their new books that will be coming out,
they are not very good about telling us which books have gone out of
print.
If you think a book is out of print,
please let us know.
We will check with multiple suppliers to see if any of them
still have a copy left.
When we find out of print books available,
we frequently buy them.
Many of our customers came to us because they could not find a title
at our competitors.
Q: Who are these Pete & Ed guys?
A: Pete is the one you may have seen selling our books at
bicycle rides such as the Hilly Hundred or Apple Cider Century.
He currently lives in Columbus, Ohio and sells pole barns.
Ed is the one who maintains the web pages and replies to your e-mail.
He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana and works as an engineer at
Rolls-Royce Allison.
Q: When I call in my order, does Pete or Ed answer?
A: No. It is probably answered by Roy, who is the manager/owner
of Circle City Bicycles & Fitness.
If he doesn't answer, then it must be one of the folks who works for him.
Q: Did anybody really ask these questions, or did you just make them
up?
A: We made them up.
